Minutes of the BAOC Board Meeting held July 17, 2024
Present: Officers – Stephanie Maclean (President), Tapio Karras (Vice President), Graham Brew (Event Coordinator), John Richardson (Secretary), Gary Kraght (Treasurer); Board members – Dan Greene, Steve Haas, Jeff Lanam, Dennis Wildfogel; Visitors – None
The meeting was held via Zoom. It was called to order by the President at 7:35 PM.
Money Market Account
The Treasurer presented a motion to invest any funds in excess of expected working expenses in a money market fund from a reputable financial institution. This was seconded by the President and approved unanimously by the Board.
Email Votes
The Secretary reported one email vote since the previous Board Meeting.
The motion was to amend the 2024 budget to add $800 for permanent-course grants. It was proposed by Gary Kraght, seconded by John Richardson, and approved unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:56 PM.
