- RouteGadget Tip #1: After selecting your GPX file, make sure to adjust the time offset between starting your watch at the Start line and leaving the Start Triangle. The offset can have a significant impact on your route accuracy. For most local events, the offset should be set to 0 as we start from the triangle (assuming you started your watch exactly when you started).
- RouteGadget Tip #2: After uploading your GPS track to RouteGadget, you can create additional blue adjustment points by right-clicking your track. You can use these points to better align your route with the map, for example, along trails. You can delete extra adjustment points by right-clicking them.

2024 Summer Series Results
Well done to everyone who made it up to beautiful Lake Tahoe for the fifth event of the BAOC 2024 Summer Series. The scores for this event are below, together with the Standings after five events. Only one more Summer Series event to go, and a shorter drive than Tahoe for most folks! Bedwell Bayfront Park in Menlo Park on Sunday August 25th. All the details are here.
There is still everything to run for, with some tight competitions developing — especially at the top of the Short table.
Your BAOC Event Coordination Committee has a full slate of events planned for the Fall, after the Summer Series is over. Likely eight events from September through December. Some of these are already posted on the Schedule, and the rest should be announced shortly as we move through the permitting and planning stages. Keep an eye on the website for the most up-to-date information.
