BAOC has mapped numerous parks in the Bay Area, and most of these orienteering maps are available for purchase. Notes about prices, formats, and ordering instructions are below.

Format and Price Notes
Nearly all BAOC maps are 5-color images, some drawn to IOF specs. Older maps are offset printed; newer ones are rendered on the computer with OCAD software.
Offset: Because they are printed in quantity on a traditional printing press, these maps are used for several years, and accuracy may suffer over time (vegetation and trail changes, etc.).
OCAD: These computer-based maps are printed on request on a 720x1440 dpi inkjet printer. Some of these maps don't fit on a 17x22 sheet, so they are printed on two sheets, as listed. The cost for each page of an OCAD inkjet-printed map:
- $2 for 8.5x11 inches
- $3 for 8.5x14, 11x17, or 13x19
- $4 for 17x22
Smaller sections of any OCAD map can be printed. Maps can also be printed at any scale, though some parts of some of maps would not be very readable at 1:15000. Any scale really means any scale. Want to paper your wall with 17x22-inch sheets of 1:1000 Annadel? If someone wanted to pay for it, Bob could print a blown-up map on a 6-foot wide inkjet printer!
